Established in 1988, Silver Plus is an enthusiastic and committed co-operative group of silversmiths and jewellery makers. Silver Plus members use a variety of materials in their work, including silver, gold, titanium, base metals, stone setting, enamel, glass and beads. Members create jewellery, decorative objects, hollow and flatware. Members work in the studio on their own projects but Silver Plus provides a stimulating environment in which ideas and techniques can be shared. Silver Plus also runs workshops in specialised techniques and holds problem solving meetings during the year. The workshops are open to non-members. Exhibitions and sales f members’ work are held regularly. The Silver Plus studio/workshop is located at Granmas Refuge – the home of the Business Education Network at Ingleside.
