To improve the quality of workplacement experiences for both students and host employers, some pre-flight information and forms are required by some of our employers to be completed prior to placement.
It is critical that the requirements are met 2 weeks prior to placement and returned to your coordinator in order for your placement to be confirmed.
In general, students are expected to complete the Work Readiness Certificates for each course undertaken through the GO 2 Workplacement portal. Click here to start your certificate now!
Once you complete the go2workplacement you obtain your Work Placement Ready Certificate.
The Certificate lets your host employer know that you are prepared for your placement and have identified a set of skills and competencies to focus on during your placement.
SPECIFIC HOST EMPLOYER REQUIREMENTS
Please ensure you read the preflight cover letter to ensure your documents are completed correctly. This will also include a copy of the signed completed Student Placement Record. This can be generated through the workplacement portal by the class teacher. Click here to go to the portal.
