Apprenticeship in Painting and Decorating

Are you looking for an apprenticeship and a career in the Painting and Decorating Industry? Then this could be for you.

Master Painters Group Training Company (MPGTC Pty Ltd RTO No.90464) is currently seeking people who are interested in a career in the Painting & Decorating Industry in the Sydney Metro area and have positions available now.

Previous experience is not essential. Applications are open to school leavers, mature age candidates and anyone who has a desire to work in the Painting and Decorating Industry.

An Apprenticeship in the Painting and Decorating Industry involves:

1. Undertaking and successfully completing formal education in the Certificate course (CPC30611 - Certificate III in Painting & Decorating). This is an essential requirement to be a qualified tradespeople in the Painting and Decorating Industry.
2. Working with a host Painting and Decorating company to complete the essential on-the-job training requirements.
3. Complying with all relevant Government policies and procedures, including Covid 19 safety procedures

Working in the Painting and Decorating Industry often involves a lot of travelling to different sites of work, early starts, working at heights, completion of formal and workplace based training and experience.

Prior to applying, you must meet the eligibility requirements listed below:

• 15 years or older
• No longer at school
• Living or working in NSW
• An Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizenship
